YSL Maid Agency began as a small family business in Penang, founded by Madam Yeap Siew Leng—an early pioneer in Malaysia’s domestic helper industry. Her belief was simple: a maid agency must never operate as a “transactional business.” Instead, it must prioritize the well-being of the maid and the long-term harmony of the household.
This philosophy is still the foundation of YSL today. Over the decades, the YSL family continued this legacy by building deep, legally compliant partnerships with authorized recruitment centers in Indonesia and the Philippines.
These partnerships are backed by government-regulated Job Orders (JO) under the Malaysia–Indonesia and Malaysia–Philippines Memorandums of Understanding. This ensures every maid supplied through us is recruited ethically, screened legally, and protected from exploitation.
